Sculptra® is not a filler, it’s a collagen biostimulator. With its unique ingredient PLLA-SCA™, Sculptra®, once injected, stimulates the body to produce new collagen restoring the skin's firmness and smoothing wrinkles for natural-looking results that last more than 2 years. Recent research shows that Sculptra®’s PLLA-SCA™ has an effect on more components of the extracellular matrix, including elastin, indicating regenerative properties. Sculptra® can be applied face, neck, abdominal area, buttocks and arms where skin elasticity and quality may need improvement.

Patients can achieve multiple outcomes by treating different areas with varying product volumes and see improvements in skin firmness. We have identified four key patient issues and result areas that Sculptra® can help address:

  1. Loss of radiance, by providing a youthful glow effect: 91% of patients noticed improved skin radiance 2 years after treatment.

Most patients will start seeing visible results after one month, with progressive improvements months over months, and sustained, natural looking results lasting more than 2 years.

Yes, Sculptra® can be safely combined with other treatments like neuromodulators, laser treatments, and other HA fillers to enhance overall facial rejuvenation. Combining treatments can address different aesthetic concerns simultaneously for more comprehensive results.

Common side effects include swelling, redness, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site. Rarely, small bumps or nodules may form under the skin, which can be treated if persistent.
