The device includes a face rest for added comfort, and built-in speakers provide voice directions for a positive experience for both clinicians and patients. It also features a corneometer for accurate hydration readings, ensuring precise skin assessments.
Safe Patient Imagery With No UV Heat
UV light sources are ideal for photographing pigmentation, sebum, and porphyrin. Porphyrin becomes more luminous with light closer to a 400 nm wavelength. However, prolonged UV exposure can harm the skin. A 385 nm UV light source, close to visible light, is relatively harmless and produces minimal heat.
