JANUS Pro is a durable, dustproof, and waterproof brightness maintenance device, and the lid folds for storage with one touch. It also features a corneometer for accurate hydration readings, ensuring precise skin assessments.
Safe Patient Imagery With No UV Heat
UV light sources are ideal for photographing pigmentation, sebum, and porphyrin. Porphyrin becomes more luminous with light closer to a 400 nm wavelength. However, prolonged UV exposure can harm the skin. A 385 nm UV light source, close to visible light, is relatively harmless and produces minimal heat.

Xenon Flash & 385nm UV LED
Xenon Flash, used on JANUS Pro Hybrid, is a CRI 96-100, which is very similar to the Sun. This means it can be precisely analysed by being sensitive to all the colors of the skin. It is a solar-like spectrum used in high-end equipment and ensures excellent colour reproducibility.

Colour Rendering Index (CRI) measures how accurately a light source reveals colours compared to sunlight. The sun has a perfect CRI of 100, while typical LEDs score 70 to 80. The Sunlike LED, used on JANUS Pro Sunlike with its high CRI, closely mimics sunlight, ensuring precise skin colour capture and reliable data extraction.
