Ostenil Plus (1 x 40mg/2ml)
OSTENIL PLUS, like the standard version of OSTENIL, is an isotonic solution of highly purified sodium hyaluronate (or hyaluronic acid) developed specifically for the treatment of osteoarthritis. The novel formulation of OSTENIL PLUS utilises the combination of high concentration of sodium hyaluronate + mannitol, a free radical scavenger, which helps to stabilise the chains of sodium hyaluronate. This formulation offers the option to reduce the number of SH injections to only one injection per treatment cycle.
Indications
OSTENIL PLUS is a treatment for the symptoms of osteoarthritis. It can be used in the knee, or in any of the other joints in the body that are classified as synovial.
1 ml isotonic solution (pH 7.3) contains 20.0 mg sodium hyaluronate from fermentation and sodium chloride, sodium monohydrogenphosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, mannitol, and water for injection.
